Multi-awarded by the French and American governments, the MUNZ FLOOR® method was created by former Principal dancer Alexandre MUNZ. But make no mistake, those exercises are accesible and beneficial, regardless of your age or level of fitness.
MUNZ FLOOR® CLASSES are entirely voice led. The participants are lying on the floor and follow their coach's vocal guidance, in and out very slow and controlled spiralling movements.
The method works holistically (Fascia, Musculoskeletal System, Central Nervous System...), using specific movements and extreme slowness.
It encourages the production of anti-inflammatory and regenerative substances, decompresses the spine and also strengthens the crossed deep muscle chains of the body which promotes lasting effects, all the while having a calming effect on the nervous system.

The fascias? What is it?
Your fascia system is a gel that is present literally everywhere under your skin, it is around, between and through all your organs, tissues, fibers and cells: this viscous texture is not only what holds and interconnects them, it also governs all your systems, visceral, central nervous, immune...
Their viscous and aqueous texture and continous nature makes the fascia highly transformable. Hence, the beneficial effects of fascia treatment through movement can be felt almost immediately. But the opposite is also true, such texture is both a major asset and a huge weak point: our ‘’mother gel’’ - as Alexandre MUNZ calls them - tends to easily stick, dry out, even sclerose. We now know that many chronic pains and pathologies, including pathologies that were once misunderstood, come from fascia nodes.
